Description

Timeline's Team Management feature allows advisory firms to invite team members and control their access levels. This article explains how to manage your team within Timeline.

Accessing Team Management
Navigate to Account Settings and select Team Management to invite advisers and manage permissions.

Inviting a New Adviser

Step #1: Locate the "Invite a new adviser" section.

Step #2: Enter the adviser's email address.

Step #3: Click "Invite Adviser" to send the invitation.

The invited adviser receives an email with instructions to join your Timeline account. Once registered, they'll appear in your team member list.

Permission Levels

All Access: Unrestricted access to all features, clients, and settings.

No Extra Permissions: Limited access without client management, company settings, or team permission capabilities.

Custom Permissions: Grant specific capabilities:

  • Can manage all clients

  • Can manage company information and billing settings

  • Can manage team and permissions

Managing Team Members

The Team Management page displays:

Permissions: Current permission level with a dropdown to modify access.

Date Added: When the team member joined your Timeline account.

Status: Registration status ("Registered" indicates completed setup).

To change permissions, click the dropdown next to any team member and select the appropriate level or customize their access.
